Ritters C4/9 Auto Conversion help.

I have recently purchased a RR which has an old Ritters C4/C9 auto conversion installed.
I have removed the engine which was a p76 4.4 which is a bit tired and I am wanting to switch it out for a 3.5 that I have that is in a whole lot better nick.
One of the things that I have noticed is that the crankshaft spigot on the 4.4 is a 6 bolt pattern and that the flywheel is bolted directly to it.
The 3.5 is a 4 bolt pattern and the flywheel is attached with a "spigot spacer of soughts" (not sure of actual part name)
Ok so here are the questions for those that may know something about these little known auto conversions from the early 80's.
Did Ritters make two different bellhousings, one for the 4.4 ( which was another popular Ritters conversion) and one for the 3.5 or are they the same?
Is it a matter of having a new fly wheel made up with the 4 bolt 3.5 spigot pattern to the same spec as the 4.4 one to fit the C4/C9 torque converter?
And if so, do I bolt it directly to the crank spigot as per the 4.4 or use the "spigot spacer of soughts" as per the TF727 auto?
I am guessing that the "spigot spacer of soughts" that was on the 3.5 TF727 auto combo was there to match the "bellhousing spacer adapter" used by LR at the time and will not be required with the Ritters conversion.
