my brother asked me to ask this question cuase he is not sure wat to do (he is just rebuilding his gq ute at the moment)

Pretty vague and all up to personal choice.
I prefer boxes over arms anyway.
I have superior boxes for my 4".

std type drop arms only correct castor, and dont give any more flex, Superior arms fix castor and have modified bush geometry to provide better flex.
SEARCH for comments on 3rds arms, i think you will find quite a few comments on the cracking of the mounts on the chassis caused by the force of the pivots. ( only from what i have read , and seen ).

If you intend to make it legal, speak to your engineer first. I ended up going with Snake arms because he said that he had engineered these before and was quite happy to do it without the test certificate. It turned out to be much simpler that way because I was in Sydney at the time.

I second that i run them in my race truck an they are great.

drop boxes make for a better driving vehicle, because they get the angle of the arm back to horizontal, so the wheel doesnt have to go forward to go up, when you hit a bump, like when they are down on an angle.

Superiors slim boxes dont hang down very far either.

Arms are just expensive castor plates really, thats all they fix, is castor.

Drop boxes also allow the bushes to be centre of the flex point, allowing full up and down travel, without over stressing the bushes at the chassis end, using factory bushes, which last thelongest IMHO when set up right.

Superiors Arms will give you heaps of suspension travel on the front and all other arms don't give much more if at all.

Some arms use flexy bushes that give a bit more flex but they will flog out quicker. Having said this you can always put flexy bushes inside your castor correction plates or inside your radius arms coupled with drop boxes.

I think you'll find that drop arms also fix this problem, its only with offset caster bushes and caster plates that you still get the binding of the bush at the chassis end......all CASTER bushes and CASTER plates do is fix the CASTER.....well to some degree anyway.

mine with heavy 3" coils in the front with std nissan bushes still out flexed my 2" setup wit the factory arms and shock disonnected, the working radius of the drop arm is longer than the factory arms so it allows the front to twist slightly more, its still pretty average but alot better than std.
