stereo to uhf aeriel ?

does anyone know if I can cut the end off my uhf cable and conect it to the back of the stereo instead of the factory areial?
sick of replacing the coat hanger

yeah no porbs, as your receiving not transmitting.
27meg works better than uhf antanna from my experience

yea 27 is better but better again is that gme(pretty sure its gme) do one has the same base as most am aerials an is just a black whip (available in 2 sizes) with the correct plug for the back of your cd player pretty sure mine was bout 20 bucks ay (was a while ago)
