Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi all,
Looking a buying an early ('01-'02) 3.0lTD Prado. One is an '02 TX manual with 186K on the clock.

What are they like eg. performance, problems, engine life, towing, fuel etc?

Also, has anyone added a chip? Result?

prety good motor on all acounts allthough they r failry slow.

when a exhoust and chip is added power increses a fair bit i think to around the 120kw mark.

over all very reliable. but have it checked out before u buy.

Thought they ran a 1KZ-TE which went pretty well ??

I owned an 2002 GXL...

best car ive ever had, and i had a GXL 100 series too...

Loved the prado cause the 100 used twice the fuel and did a similar job..

how much you looking to spend?
