Finally done with LPG

So, I've recently done a long distance run in the cruiser and have finally discovered that other than city driving, LPG is completely inconvenient. The availability + price of LPG the further you get from sydney/brisbane/insert major city here makes it pointless...

So... I've decided to rip out the LPG system, do an EFI conversion on the pootrol and install a long range tank... Problem is, I already have this neat, aftermarket 60ltr tank under the patrol, whats the best way to go for setting up a main tank/sub tank configuration?

I take it the 60L tank is under the drivers side

The 147 litre tank would be the go, in conjunction with the 60 giving you over 200L of fuel to play with.

I am thinking of doing the same istall in my GQ shorty. I will be sending a email to longranger to see what they say and then i will get my auto electrican to wire it up for me.

a fireball III solinoid has a fuel pickup n return n auto change over for fuel gauge, they are around the $130 mark, easy as to install.
I would agree, run the 60l sub with 147 or bigger main. 4WD systems do a 159l for standard body mount n 180l with 2" body lift.

Cool thanks... Whats the best option for the subtank filler do you guys think?

I'm kinda fond of the 80 series pull and fill method... Is there anything aftermarket like that for the GQ?
