As the topis says who would have an angle meter?????????
I have read some posts on here about setting up pinion angles, and some have mentioned using and angle meter to get the angles correct, but I cant seem to find anyone who knows what one is let alone have one.
Does anyone know?

cant you just attach a laser light to the pimion and line it up to the out put shaft, that would give you your pinon angle wouldnt it?

i think he wants to calculate the angle.
you could do it mathematically
measure length from diff pinion to output of g/b (x)
use a stringline or laser or whatever from front diff pinion to rear diff pinion and then measure down from gearbox output to the line (y)
and measure from diff pinion along the flat line to the point of the gearbox output (use a short level or something to get an accurate measurement) (w)
so you now have measurements of all 3 sides of the triangle
and the corner wy is going to be 90*
so all you have to calculate is angle xy and angle xw
i know there is a way, but cant remember my schooling.
will look into it if you need?
cheers

Yes I saw that trucks, but it works by telling you the angle of how far the arm is spread apart, not the anglwe it is sitting on.
I got one from Bunnings today, and it was in the tool section where the power drills and stuff are, right next to the spirit levels.
Cost $40 and now I have checked it both were already spot on 84 degrees. It looks like a clock round with a flat bottom, and as my Mrs said looks like a compass. Worked well.
Thanks for the replies.
