hi guys,
i have recently replaced my 2L engine and when i went to put the gearbox in today i have realized the bell housing is completely different on the new engine, i have a feeling that the engine may have come out of a surf as some of the wires are also different. is it possible for me to just swap over the bell housing with one from another gearbox? if so what gearbox would i need to get the bell housing off?
if that isnt an option would another box bolt straight up without any modifications?
any help would be very much appreciated as this is turning into a huge drama.
