Has anyone put in an ARB air locker in there SJ80 front and or rear diffs?
If so, what model numbers, and how difficult was it?

REar is the same as any SJ413 rear.
There is no straight fit for the front, custom machining is required.

Thanks Gwangensteve,
Why is machining required? Is it different splines, or different size housing or what?
Does the SJ413 front diff require machining as well, or does ARB have a locker that fits straight in, and if so, can a front diff from a SJ413 bolt onto a SJ80?

Ok. Now I am really confused.
I just got an email from ARB USA export division saying that the RD87 will fit the front, and the RD88 for the rear.

ARBUSA wouldn't know, neither the Jimny or Coil sierra were sold in the US.
The carrier is a different width to a leaf spring SJ413 front so machining is required. That's all I know. I haven't done it.
We're in the same city as ARB HQ and a clubmember had a coil sierra here that was going to be the first to receive a front airlocker, but they never got around to making one.
I haven't confirmed if it's easier to fit a whole Jimny front third member with an available air locker than it is to adapt a locker to the coil sierra.

Yeah I kinda thought it strange that ARB US would say they had one that would work.
They actually have one for the Jimny, and they guy assumed that as they are both coil sprung that they had the same diffs and it would work.
He is to check with ARB HQ in OZ and ask a question.
Don't hold out much hope, but fingers are crossed
