lifting 4runner

I wasnt going to lift my 4runner but I decided against that decision and now I want to lift it 2inches. Whats the easiest way to do this in the 4 runners (89 coil spring) is the body lift the way to go or is there a decent priced way of getting the suspension up?
The other thought I had was if there is say some 30mm spring spacers availible for these rigs I might chuck them in, wind the bars and run a 2in lift.
Shed some light on it all for me guys.

body lift mate, piss easy. buy the spacers off ebay. i made mine out of 50mm alum round bar, cut to 50mm then drilled a hole and bobs your untie. had to un-clip a few wires off there supports because they were getting a bit streched, i wouldn't want to go any higher for that reason, make sure you buy high tensile bolts

2" sus lift is a piece of cake as well.
Just need 2" raised rear coil springs + longer shocks to suit, wind up front torsion bars to level her out and add an extension to the rear brake proportioning valve (raise it the same amount as the sus lift).
Sit back and admire your work

Also, if you don't have the need for extra tyre clearance, the suspension lift will be far more beneficial then a bodylift.

Yeah suspension lift is pretty easy.
I bought my coil springs to give a 2" inch lift from terraintamer. $160 for the pair.
I recommend that you get new torsion bars too, I got TJM stronger ones, $300. Much easier to adjust and don't need anywhere near the same windup that standard bars do to get required lift.
Coil spring spacers will be about $60 each for 30mm ones. I got 15mm ones for about half that.
I did add to this though an extended rear brake hose (can't remember price, wasn't much though) and an adjustable panhard rod for $250, as with 2" lift coils and spring spacers on top, your rear axle will be skewed in relation to the body if you retain the standard panhard (which obivously has no adjustment and is about half the thickness of an aftermarket adjustable rod).
Or as you said you could go bodylift, a 50 mm kit for this would be miles cheaper than above. But there are some additional things you need to fix, like your bullbar will sit too low so new brackets need to be made up for that, gearstick will need modifying (cutting and welding in a bit to make it longer), radiator will be lifted up with the body so new brackets needed to drop it back down, careful that you don't stretch your brake and clutch lines and fuel tank filler hose, also loosen off steering couplers and uni's.

O.k, decision made. 2in ironman springs on the way. Ill chuck it in and see how it goes. Im pressuming I could safely run 32s with the 2in lift?

yep no probs. with fitting 32's after that.. You can also cut a inch of your front bump stops

yep no probs. with fitting 32's after that.. You can also cut a inch of your front bump stops so you don't loose any downward articulation, you gain abit of upward motion aswell...
