problems!!!

hi all, i have a clicking noise in my front end sounds like its coming from my front diff somewhere, when i engage 4wd the noise goes away and when i disengage it comes back again. i lifted the front end of the bus up off the ground and spun the front wheels and there was no noise but then i turned the key to the on position and spun the wheel again and it started clicking, does anyone know what this might be??????

Do you have a locker in the front and it's trying to engage maybe?
That was my first though although probably wrong.

yes i do have a front air locker, but the guys at nw offroad have had a look at it and they say that the actuator in the front diff isint disengaging properly causing it to click, so i have to pull it all out again and have a look at it to see why this would be happening, thanks anyway mate!!
