we test drove one when bought the ex pathfinder.... to me they were very cheap and built to impress only those in the adverts. They go ok, but wouldnt expect them to last
thought of a Zook??
What aftermarket gear are you thinking of? suspension, or ??

im getting an Xtrail for the missus. I love them, so comfortable to drive and fairly roomy considering.
I dont think i would hesitate to take it into a 4wd park just as transport. The underbelly is pretty exposed though so i would be selecting the tracks it gets driven on carefully.

I got an xtrail for the wife, its awesome and she loves it. Not too big for her, yet still a decent size. Got a bit of go for a little fanger, I haven't ahd a drama with it as yet, very happy. However I seriously consider a Kluger when I buy the next one.

The new Xtrail is an exceptionally good vehicle. All its missing is the YD22 turbo diesel...
The old one was safe but pretty cheaply built. the new one is in a completely different class as far as build quality goes. Its MUCH better. Not to mention its better offroad too (according to the specs anyway

)
