gear box q?

i have an 80 series cruiser and the pinion seal is leeking and its not the breather hose!!! and there is move ment in the out put sharft!!! what should i do?
rebuild transfer case time.
i assume by pinion you mean the output flange - which isn't actually a pinion. either way the bearing is knackered.
Couldn't tell you how much it would cost, but i doublt it would be much. as far as i know there is know special tools or heavy lifting involved.
