did you just guess for the turbo? it's a good idea to start with the kW you want and work out the turbo you need from there.
Start around 15psi and work your way up in small increments; depending on the limits of the efficiency of the compressor, anywhere up to maybe 25psi? watch the EGTs and adjust fuelling to suit. inlet air tem probes before and after compressor, and after intercooler, will give you an idea of the efficiency of the compressor, and of the intercooler, so you can tell whether your exhaust is hot because of the amount of fuel being burned (good - more power) or becuse the inlet air is hot (bad - less power). there will come a point where more boost = less power because the inlet air is hot and therefore less dense. you need to add the heat at the right time in the cycle.
an external oil cooler is also a good idea.
if you can afford dyno time, it will let you fiddle with the boost and watch inlet and exhaust temps, so you can find the optimum settings for that engine, turbo and intercooler setup.
