Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi i got two transfer cases yesterday and i was told that 1 was a 1 ltr transfer so i pulled them apart, and this is what it looks like.
the one on the right has a bigger front output and a 4wd switch, where as the one on the left has a smaller front output, no 4wd switch and what seems to be bigger gears inside.

what i want to know is which one is the 1 ltr case, and if so how to tell.

its the box on the left and its the very 1st 1 litre and they are shit , throw it in the bin ...
