Hi All,

I have a 94 modal 80ser 4.5l all wheel drive and I want to put a 2 wheel conversion in can anyone recommend a brand and type to install and any pros or cons in doing so.

I have been looking in to installing a Hiclone http://www.hicloneqld.com/ to increase fuel economy and increase power any feedback on this would be great.

Mark

I used a kit from marks 4wd adaptors. Works great and cost about 500

There would be a few 05 fans out there finding this thread a bit distasteful, none the less very funny IMO.

sounds like your trying to get better fuel economy???? i got a 4.5l 80, when you find something that works let me know....LOL.

i think your wasting your time and money with the hiclone and reverse fuel polarization things. if they really worked wouldnt all the manufactures put them on their vehicles???

part conversion sounds good. i only know of the one from marks. but remember if you do put the part time conversion on you are more likely to lock wheels up under heavy braking. - thats a disadvantage.

You're right Badger. The fuel polarisor needs to be on to make it run right, but if you put on an electric turbo (got mine from ebay!) you save heaps on fuel costs but have 25% more power! Mine chirps into 3rd!

Get a dx transfer and a manual rear tailshaft and it bolts straight in....hilux or 60/75 front hubs also bolt straight on
