does anyone know what is the standard rpm for a 89 sierra at 100 i dont have a tacho in my zook and a search didnt reveal much cheers :)

I think its in one of the reduction gears threads.
Click on the club link in my sig go to tech there is a gear cal type it in and it will tell you.
5th gear .86
t/c if stock 1.4
diffs should be 3.7 (could be 3.9)
tyres 26" stock
Plug inthose numbers and your right to go, assuming they are correct for your zuk.

It's normally in the 3300-3500rpm range.

Nik - I didn't think all sierra's had the .86 5th, only coilers?

I work on .785 (?) for leaf sierras.

Is .86 higher or lower?
I have a coily gearbox but I thought it was the lower of the 2.
I think we spoke about 5th ratios in another thread and decided most were the same except somewhere around 87 and the 3.7 diffs??
