turboing a 1hz question

I am wondering where those that have done this have picked up the oil feed from for the turbo.

I was told by the mechanic that it has to come from the passengers side of the motor hence he is charging me $150 for the braided oil line as its going to be fairly long.

Is there anywhere on the drivers side of the block that it can be picked up from making the braided line shorter and cheaper.

Dont think there is anywhere on the drivers side, usually they are T pieced into the oil pressure switch which is on the passenger side

most pick up from the oil pressure sender hence why you need the braided oil line
