Hi all,
just wondering if you can run wider than 10.5" tyres on 7" rims. Also can my current rims, 15"x7" alloys, be offset and approx how much, or should I just buy 15"x8" steel rims, is there much difference in the price.
Cheers,
Luke.

by the time you pay to get your current rims cut and offset, you would have been petter off buying some cheap 15x8 sunnys with a bigger offset

i have a 33/12.5 on a 15x7 at the moment went on ok seems to handle alright. i reckon they would bag really good if the pressure was dropped as well

15x8s are cheap as chips. rrp is like 70 bucks or something i got mine for $50 each brand new. just get the 15x8s and dont worry about all the stuffing around.

I just got a price to increase 15 x 7's to 15 x 10" and the price was absolute madness. It cost far more than to buy a 15 x 10.

Rims are produced by machines in runs of thousands and to increase the width and change the offset, a person has to cut the rim, and weld in the new band etc. It probably takes far more time to alter a rim than it did to make it in the first place
