V8 100 series Fuel Consumption??

I have a LX470 Lexus 100 series, and am getting about 20l/100 unladen.

What is everyone else getting in their 100 series?

Most people I've spoke to are getting 14 - 16l, 20l when towing a 30' boat.

Any info appreciated, but please keep it factual. I tried this topic on Lextreme.com, but some jerk with a 4.0 Rangerover keeps trying to ruin the topic!

I don't need to own a v8 100 to know that is crap. they might get 20l towing the 30 footer to the ramp 2 kays away on the odd weekend.

going on past threads, 14-16 sounds like unlaiden economy on the highway, and 20l is unlaiden around town. It sounds like you're about right with economy.

towing with the v8 is probably more like 28 to over 30l per 100k

however, 14-16 normal and 20 towing sounds alot like turbo diesel economy....

Hi

I have an 06 v8 100 auto . I get 15/100 on the freeway unladen . 17/100 around town and about 20/100 when my missis drives it.

On tour with a combo of slow 4 wheeling , sand and dirt and towing a camper it got 17/100

Hope this helps
