anyone had this before? the handbrake light stays on after i have released it..........any ideas as to how to fix it?

^^I'm with this guy (unless it's obviously the handbrake switch).^^nads wrote:could be low level fluid if it's the same light (was in my 60) or a vacuum problem. vacuum problem would be obvious though
You can possibly rule out the switch simply by seeing if the light gets slightly brighter as you pull the handbrake on and off.
My bet is on vacuum or fluid level sender.
