Was searching around and found this. Local store can order them in but want $25 a pop

Would it be as simple as strapping a neg/pos to one of those pins and finding a way to mount it? Looking for a nice way to light up a campground without flattening the battery or blinding people.

they look pretty neat. ill check supercheap next time im there, maybe they have them there. it would be good if u could get a plug and mounting case for them.

$25 is a rip, i try and avoid specialty shops whenever possible.

You can get plugs and mounts for them at Bunnings.
same as 12V Halogens.

I was in Jaycar the other day and they have led strip panels for caravans and boats in a number of diff configs. they look fairly versatile.

When I found tihs web site, I kinda bent ballastic, went silly and spent $400 to $500 on leds.

LEDs for vehicles:

LED bar strips:

Have two of these as my lounge room lights, connected to solar panel on roof, and batteries under house.
