Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys,

I'm going to organise a group buy from Locktup 4x4 as I need to buy a high steer kit for my lux and would like to save some coin!

I've seen a few guys on here talking about going the high steer kit so here's an opportunity to save some dollars!

I've contacted the guys at Locktup and they are all for a group buy and reckon we could save quite a bit buying as a group rather than an individual. Mainly on import duty and freight.

Details on price are sketchy at the moment but will firm up when final numbers are known.


Ideally I would like to place an order within 2 - 4 weeks from now so around early March.

THe products I am buying are the HIGH STEER KIT and the IFS steering box mounting kit.

These are the best prices I've seen so far for this modification and if we can do better thats great!

We've got about 5 more from 4wd monthly so that totals about 7 kits so far.

10 would be a nice even number to order if we can get enough interest...

I am interested but need to know how much first (i have other commitments) so i will wait and see what the price is gonna be and when the cash will be due by and go from there. Great idea though.

Alright. We have prices! These prices are based on a buy of 12 or more... So if we don't get 12 we will have to cancel the group order...

These are approximate prices and may vary by $10 or so either way...

The high steer kit is $595 delivered to your door.
The IFS box mounting kit is an extra $45.

We worked out the usual price if you purchased 1 for yourself it would have been $750 so we stand to save about $100. Not a bad saving!

Regarding payment email chris@locktup4x4.com.au and briefly tell him that it's the group buy and the price and your address for postage and he will invoice you. He will only ship once payment has been made which is understandable...

PS. does will the ifs mounting kit fit 91mod or jus the earlier models like it says or did i just imagine that?

The mounting kit does fit later model luxes. On the Trail Gear site it only says 84 models as thats all the yanks got in solid axle.

When he receives 12 or more definite buyers then he will invoice us.

Until we get 12 buyers we can't get the reduced price, so get an email on the way to him.

For your info, if you have a SUSPENSION lift LESS than 3" you should be specifying that you want the FLAT arms.
