I got 2 lengths of 2 1/2 inch pipe which fit between front and back guards. I used lengths of 2 x 3/8 strap and cut 8 pieces about 2 inches longer than the height of the chassis rails. I used these to sandwich the chassis rail, with a bolt above and below the rail. I then just made up brackets from these plates to the length of pipe.
The have lasted about 5 years with no problems, even ok to lift the Rocky with a hi lift with them. I have only had one tree stump slip past them, crunching the sill.
