Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey all got a 1985 hilux 2.4 deisel.

at the moment when we start the lux with the head lights off the car will switch off.
but when we start the car with headlights on the car wont turn off by the ignition but when u flick the lights off it will turn off

and also when you bounce the car the dash and lights flicker

please help need problem fixed by 2 morra night

Sounds like the loom coming out of the column has been crushed or maybe you have fitted spotlights(incorrectly) recently??
There are two plugs at the back of the column, try unplugging the lights/indicator plug and then the ignition plug and see if it makes any difference.
Bit hard to diagnose here but my best guess would be to undo whatever has been done recently.
