Hey Everyone

I couldn't find anything on here about fuel tank restoration, so now I have done it myself, I thought I'd give people a heads up. I had rust in my tank which was a little bad, but then got really bad after I left it on the garage floor for a few weeks.

Basically what I did was clean it out with hydrochloric acid and water. This ate the rust AWESOME! Then I used the POR15 product ($108) and followed their directions, it came out all good! Awesome stuff.

I am not gonna write up a thing on how to do it as others have on the net, but here are some links.

Make sure you get a mask and face protection for the acid. Cost me around $50 for the mask/canisters, $3 gloves, already had a face sheild. Don't risk it.

Here is one of the guides I found was pretty detailed.
