Cons-

Bad fuel economy

Check for timing chain noise at start up and service history (regular oil changes)

Rear diffs seem to be an issue sometimes.

The shocks on my '04 XL-7 were stuffed at 50000km, don't know if the normal GV's suffer the same poor quality shocks?
