Is it easy to swap the calipers off a 87 model TD rocky onto an 84 model NA rocky? Any issues I should expect? Any one else done it?

Asking cause the turbo disks are ventilated, and I gather the calipers would be different. Want to go the ventilated disks since I've got a snail on it now.

The whole brake hub assembly should come off... and the new one 'should' bolt up... Just give it a go

I'm fairly sure the calipers are the same between models, as the ventilated disc was an 'option' at time of purchase.
They are 18mm wide instead of 12.5mm, so the caliper will just remain further apart than if using the solid rotor.
They're the same diameter so I can't see any issues.

Should be the same.

They use the same pad as a hilux. Does anyone know if the caliper is the same :?:

Can't speak for a rocky but the caliper on a ventilated Feroza has a wider bridge than a non ventilated one. Bolts to the same points - same pads and piston area, just a wider bridge to compensate for the thicker disk.

I would strongly suspect that there's the same difference with a Rocky.
