just wondering if anyone has driven a D40 with a calmini 5" lift kit?

if so is it any good?
comfortable?
flex?

What is in the kit?

Is it made for left hand drive cars only or do they have a right hand drive version?

the lift kit is suitable for both left and right hand drive cars

Try Cal Goodman @ Cal Offroad (www.caloffroad.com.au ) in Berrydale (near Cooma).

He sells this kit and has one fitted in his own D40 and it still drives great, have a chat to him (his no: is in my sig line below).

i know this topic is old.

but i am looking for a lift for a 07 d40 dual cab .

i checked out the snake racing 5" & the caloffroad 5" they both look the same product.
then i seen in USA at http://www.purenissan.com/frontier.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; looks the same again but half the price.

just want to know what the difference is if there is any? or recommend a lift that someones actually fitted to there d40?

I have a D40 with calmini driven from a close mate of mine. The car looks very beautiful. The suspension is very nice on road and to the corners not let too much body roll.
To the flex side is not somethink great. He put also the springs and shocks to the front from Old Man Emu and the car became even better off and on road.
If you consider doing this put with the calmini the coil over that gives at the front. It will help the flex much more.
Also look the PRG products at USA.
It has a 3" lift with coil over radflo at front and bilstein with shacles at the back. Its great and flex very nice.

2010 on is different than the USA models and the kits do have different parts. Caloffroad uses a USA picture but the kits are different
