sway bar

just wondering if anyone has taken there sway bar out on a sierra and if so is there much diffrence on and off road plus does it really give u more articulation if so is it worth doing cheers

i took mine off a few wks ago n it is so much better it steers better.
i havnt checked out my articulation cos its only standard but it reacts better when turning.

I have mine still on the front, and this weekend i plan on putting one on the rear too, just to stiffen it up a little, and for it to sit on the road nicer....

Do you have a coil conversion or something mike? Or a coily model zook? As if its a leaf sprung, they handle like go-karts even when lifted without swaybars...!

She's 88 leaf sprung, no lift.
She still seems to roll a little in the back. She has nolathane bushes, standard leafs, and after market shocks. standard tyre sizes, on F100 offset.

Not everyone, I didn't remove the sway bar from my old zook.............. it didn't come with one

well looks like i got a job to do tomorrow then thanks fellas how does it go with rego? or do u just slap it back on in 5 for it?

Yeh leave it on for rego, but as others have said, ive never seen anyone with it actually on! When i took mine off i honestly never noticed a difference onroad.
