Gday anybody know if the 13b and the 13b-t are the same internally. thanks. warren.

yes and n o, they arnt thesame internally, the 13bt is direct injected, 3b indirect....same block but differnt head and pistons

I would say he might be asking about the 13B not the 3B. I am guessing that he has got or is getting one and wants to know weather the crank etc in the non turbo model is the same as the turbo model. Much the same as me having the non turbo 14B and wandering if it has the same strength crank etc as the 14BT.
I could be way off, but that is my guess anyway.

Sorry Warren...These motors are very tough, if you are thinking of turboing one, go for it. I would only be guessing, but the only things that i would expect to be different is the comp ratio and piston metal composition.

Thanks, yer 13b in my 42 and i can get a blown 13bt and was going to just transfer the turbo stuff.
