what to do with my swb MQ??

I bought a swb MQ patrol that has 33" allterains on it (lil bit chunkier than BFG's though). what looks to be a small spring lift and 2 radios in it. Im selling the old bike and will have $4000 sitting round wanting to be spent to make this thing capable. What do you guys think i should do first? body lift, bigger tyres (35" pedes), winch, drop shackles, turbo kit (as its a non turbo 3.3 Diesl), put a TD42 in? anything else.....??
this is my 2nd 4x4, i had a tuff lil suzi sierra before this one. so im prepared to go all out on this one.
hope i can get some help!!
Cheers, from Dayne

Yep, I own my Mk for a reason. Sd33T and a cheap reliable truck.
IF i had that money to through around, id be looking for a GQ as an all out.
MQ/MK are old as the hills and almost cost more to mod properly, and peopel still end up with a GQ

Not against it at all, I have 2 of em. and in no rush to upgrade
If you can use a search button and sopend hours researching, and can use tools, welder, etc you could build a tuff one with the 4k easilly.
BUT, youd get a good start into a gq for 4k plus your MQ and itd be alot more user friendly.
How much do you wanna butcher the MQ , and how hard to you wanna wheel.
35's are a start. buy factory Turbo setup cheap, i know of one sitting round

The mods will be an endless situation. i got the truck for couple grand so i will be going all out on it.

just be prepared for the time required to complete these mods, a lot of work goes into a truck like the one above. all the time, money and effort spent on the MQ might be lucky to get you a un-roadworthy GQ equivalent.
the mq is sooo much tuffer though ;-)

yea im gonna stick with what i got. too much effort selling the mq, saving up, finding a gq and what not. But if anyone out there has a standard turbo, manifold etc etc for a sd33 or whatever they are, please tell me!!! Would really like a lil more power!

damn it wicked, i love your truck
its wicked.
Redhotzook, the mq,mk are as said, a old truck and well leaf springs do get the better of you, needless to say, spend the money and they'll still go places. Mine isn't as hardcore as wicked's but still gets the job done.
Can't help you with a factory turbo setup sorry, I'm chuckin a turbo engine in mine but gotta spec it up abit first

Body lift's bad dude, stay away from it.
