Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My speedo and tacho are not working in my 4runner. Mechanic reckons its a prob behind the dash face. Question is, how the #^&@ do I get the dash face out? Its an 89 mod. All I can see is two screw holes above the clear plastic face and thats all. Do I have to remove the whole surround that goes around the heater controlls and all?

You have to pop the ignition key suround of 1 screw behind
remove the 4 knobs from the heater controls
remove fasia from controls pick out from the passengers side 1 screw top LH corner 2 screws you can see
remove the knob of RH vent
2 screws on knee panel under key
once you get there 4 screws on cluster
4 plugs and speedo cable from behing
If I have forgoten anything someone will let you know
