No I don't bother, most new sets come with thin pads between the leafs these days anyway, end of day the grease will collect dirt and mud and you'll probably worse of than when you started.

oh ok.. very true. I'm aboout to help a mate remove a leaf or 2 from his calmini kit.. and was just wondering if i should bother greasing it up while its apart. His suspension has got the thin pads between the springs..

anything you put in there will be washed out on the first water crossing you do - and if you use grease, like others said, itll just become and abbrasive.
Manufacturers sometimes use nylon or something between the leaves, but they too get shredded after a while.

calmini kits come with the pads and they slide on each other fine no need to bother, just give them a clean
