80 Series Shudder - broken engine mount?

I got the turbo installed on my 1HZ earlier on the week, and everything was fine now a few days later I have a nasty shudder under strong acceleration and also when the engine is left to slow the car down. I fI push the clutch in the shudder stops.

If I am sitting at a constant speed without accelerating or slowing everything is fine...

could it be a broken engine mount? I took a look but dont know how to tell if they are shagged or not :(

Engine mount or gear box mount. Get under there with a big screw driver or pry bar and try and move it around. It will be pretty obvious if it's broken.

i say clutch

but to check engine mounts pull hand brake on and stall motor up in 1st, might be easier with a mate watching

Clutch is only 12 months old - should last longer than that surely?

Sounds like your clutch, make sure it is adjusted right...is the clutch engaging with pedal right up top???? this would indicate adjustment or worn out...
