Wheel stud spins with nut

How the hell do i get my wheel off??? (this is on teh front of my sierra)
such a pain in the arse!
(PS yes i searched. i remember reading a thread on this a little while ago but cant seem to find it...)

Unbolt the caliper and then remove the whole hub by undoing the 50mm nuts that hold the bearing in.
Once you have the hub off, put a tack weld on the back of the stud and undo as normal.
You may have to tack a piece of rod or flat bar from one stud to another as the the studs are steel and the hub is cast iron.
You use a rattle gun to do them up?????

not usually but I have done once i think...
damnit i have to pull the whole farkin hub off argh...
i guess this means new stud (s) too?

At least replace the dodgy one. The others should still be OK.

lol i have the exact same problem on the rear of my sierra, was trying to think of an easy solution to fix it tomorra

PJ. .....pretty much the same solution for the rear.
Jack up and undo the 4 nuts that hold the drum to the axle,
remove the wheel and drum as one,
flip over so drum faces up and tack weld a piece of steel between 2 of the studs,
undo as usual.
Replace dodgy stud/s.

I put discs on the back anyway so i just do the caliper thing.

Hopefully its only the splines on the stud and not the hub splines stripped.

Suzuki only have splines on the stud.

And if they are still perfect it means the hub is stripped and a new stud wont change anything.

In that case, replace the hub/drum OR fit a Speedi-sleeve.

Or just leave the tack welds on and grind em off if you ever need to replace stud.

Cant replace hub as its a 6 stud... dunno where the fawk i'd find another one of those to fit a suzuki...
