A440F auto trans beef up kits?

the trans in my hj61 vx sahara has gone does anybody know of anyone who does upgrade kits ie: clutch pack and bands which are better than the standard replacements? while the box is out i wanna do it right!

check ebay out, there is a box on there for sale a440f Its in Melb and was from behind a 3f, but if it is any good, it may save you some coin on rebuilding yours

thanks i'v already got a spare one pulled it down last night just need clutch's and output shaft

dunno how much a new output shaft is for a A440F, but I would suspect if the shaft is chewed at the output gear (the do flog out the same as 5 speeds) then you will need a new output gear also. Might save you a few dollars if you get one of the aftermarket output gears that has the spacer built in with the spline the whole of the assembly, will save a few dollars getting one of these rather than a new shaft and new out put gear
