Hi there guys, opened my eyes today and found that the extra inlet and outlet on my radiator is actually for engine oil cooling  , my spare radiator does not have these and so am thinking about getting the auto cooler off my wreck and using it as the engine oil cooler? What you think about doing this? Has it been done before? Would this be better, Or should i just save the $750 to recore the correct one.
What about oil pressure, can i use flexible hose and clamps or is the pressure too great. as the inlet and out let are top and bottom of radiator and the cooler would be side to side.

why? just more thing's to go wrong?

unless it's a highly strung race spec motor I really can't see a good valid reason (shoot me down if i'm wrong too!)

Pity you are in the wrong country, I have an auto radiator I am about to sell.
For LR to add an engine cooler they must have thought it needed it. The reason they run it through the rad header tank is so they dont have to add a thermostat to it to prevent it getting over cooled.
The ideal way is to get yours repaired or a similar replacement.
Hose clips should work if you go that way, as long as you have barbed fittings to stop the hose sliding off.
