ok so i may have avaliable to me a set of front and rear 4.3 diff gears out of a 1999 GU 4.5 patrol auto and i want to put them in mine car to replace the standard 3.9s! but my question is will they fit my 1999GU 42TDt manual!
i would think that the fornt diff sizes would be the same across the board of most gu models but are the rears also the same!
cheers Cam

I honestly dont think there is a "STANDARD".. my GQ auto had 4.1, most others I saw had 3.9...
Possibly they used what ever they had in the parts at the time

do you know of any cases where the ratios stamped on the compliance { on the firewall } did not match the actual ratios in the vehicle?
