Hi Guys

I need some help with a water leak into my car. Was cleaning the vehicle as a smell was apparent when i removed the panel to get under the carpet in the passengers door foot well I found about 5L of water also noticed heaps of water running down the whole vehicle to the rear.

I kind know where its coming from but really dont want to remove the whole dash

Please help

Regards

You don't need to remove the hole dash to seal the A/C drain tube, you could fit an extension to the pipe in the fire wall to remove the water from draining down along the panel,( or draining back into the cab through the fire wall hole), as this is meant to be sealed. ie foam type seal between fire wall inner and A/C evaporator box. Or remove the evaporator box and reseal , this would mean discharging and recharging the system. check to see if this is the fault first .
cheers Phill.

We have trouble with leaves blocking the water outlet drain tube, causes the problem you have, the fix is to unblock the drain pipe(peice of wire or blow some air into it and see if you get a face full of water)
