Noisy Diff?

Post by suzukigav »

Hey, when i'm driving lately i have been able to hear a faint grinding (maybe rubbing is a better word) comming from my back axle. I thought it was just normal zook noises but i decided to turn my engine off when i was going down a hill and i could definatley hear my rear diff sounding like a mortar and pestle lol. any ideas?

Normally a pinion bearing or gearset going will whine whereas a wheelbearing going will rumble.
