hilux/60s would be your best bet.
easy to weld new spring perches onto the axle

Same line of thinking for my rig.....eventually. I was thinking Hilux, only because they already have a springover, and partially because they have reversed shackles on the front. So if you could get them with the leaves you could theoritically just change the centre spacing for springs, change pinions, etc. Then just bolt up the hilux leaves to the chassis, complete with diffs......
The bonus of this setup is that you now have longer leaves
That means m ore flex
Well that was what may happen to mine, just a thought.
Disclaimer:- I know its probably more involved than that, but you cross those bridges when you get there!!!

Thanks guys I have some weld on spring pearches in the shed that i got for $2 each

whitch I thought was pretty cheap considering the way there built now ill have to get some diffs to (more toy's to play whith)
Will ring around the wreckers to see how cheap I can get them hope fully wont cost the earth as Im only a 4year apprentice toolmaker.
How do you thinck I would go whith registration? would I need an engineers certificat? sorry about the extra questions but it my first real modification and i want it to go perfect

you will probably find 60series or MQ patrol the cheapest option,as no one needs these anymore

Without being a wet blanket - get on to an engineer BEFORE you start cutting and welding IF your concerned about keeping it legal.
Some states modification rules pretty much limit you to changing the radio and even then you need an engineers report and they aren't cheap.

Best advice so far. Consult an engineer and the RTA first if you want it road legal. Then go from there. Hilux or 60's would be my choice. But your decision may rest on what the engineer is happy with.

I was planing to consult to an engener but I was just hoping that there were some diffs that I dident have to change the spring pearches on to make it a little ezier to get passed.
Looks like its not as simple as it sounded just means more work to do.
Thanks fore the info guys

Dat Man,
The orange scat you have shown a picture of is I believe on standard axles and is still spring under but with 4" lift springs on it. This picture shows it from the back, most of the width is in the wheels and tyres.

It was up for sale here last year on ebay.
A couple with spoa but on standard axles both from Belguim or Holland I think,

A few more from Europe several of which are/where owned by Gonzo4x4 who posts here sometimes,

most of the photos above have come from
www.daihatsu4x4.eu
and one from the Rainforest challenge
Hopefully some more inspiration for you.

My guess is the flares are either Bushwacker or Flexi Wheel Arches,

http://www.innovation4x4.co.uk/flexi.htm
I would guess that there aren't any sold specifically for the Scat though.

Bundera diffs are a good match as the banjo housing is offset to match the offset of the transfer output. Add some flares from a wrangler and you're done. Bundy diffs are coil through.

I though they looked like rockey fleares cause they kinda look like my 94 wide track feroza's, Mightent be wide enough so I thinck ill have to fab some up whith the truste welder

I don't thinck that ill let my brother near them cause he blows more holes than rust!!!

For god shake the F10 has the lowest gear, transfer and diff ratio from all other scat. Is it possible to fit the 2.8 engine of f70 intothe f10?

Why don't you just put F10 diffs under a rocky that way you don't butcher the rearest of the scats, If you don't beleve me that there are hard to find I never knew that there was an F10 untill I bought one
