Anyone ever tried this, was thinking it might be a better set up for the extra cab chop and just looking at an MQ in the street this morning looked like it might be a good fit.

thanks

from memory they are different widths, mq is about 30mm or 60mm narrower?

Nasty, one day i'm going to put up a post and you will reply and say "great idea and it fits spot on" I love this place it always gives me a reality check.

Still it might work ok by building it out a bit

the bottum section may be all right but the pillar section is definatly narrower.

Have a measure mate before you buy one is all I'm sayin, it has been 13 years or so since I measured one.

Would look good dude, the bottum might be right. I looked at fitting GQ barn doors to a MQ n I remember the top was an issue.

Was able to do a rough chack, the height of both are close. Its the width as you say that might be a problem, but if it went close it would look better than the barn door tail gate.

Also thinking about using an mq or gq swb pillar instead of wagon one for the front doors to overcome the problem of where the rear doors hung if you follow my drift
