hello everyone i have a remote transfer out of a nissan 720 and would like to put it behind a commodore v6 with a turbo 700 auto. What im wondering is will the case be strong enough to handle the power and run 38 inch tyres on a zook, any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated

ok cool im hoping to keep the weight of the car down to around 1500 kg or less so hopefully that will help out.The plan is to run the 720 case bolted up to a remote case from a mq patrol in effect giving me twin cases and plenty of gear reduction.I have run this combination previously behind a 4 cylinder in the zook and it handled that fine just a little concerned the extra power would be too much for the drive train :D

my old man drives a datsun 720 with a v6 and t700 box with the 720 transfer and in 8 years has never had a problem accept 4 a rear diff! (but thats coz it does great burnouts)

i had a set of simex centerpeids 35s on it 4 a full days work in wombat state forest and it didnt need any gear redutions once it was in low range! it didnt even need to use 1st or 2nd on the big hill climbs or bog holes!
