Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi everyone, I have query for whoever maybe able to help !

Im in the process of turboing my 97 GQ 4.2 EFI
and I was wondering what I would have to do

A mate turboed a 4.5 80 series and only ran a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and Bosch044 fuel pump and runs great on 8psi
would this work on a EFI patrol

Any help would be much appreciated

you will need to retard the timing a bit and it will work for a while but won't be great as you can't tune it very well, better off spending bit more money and wiring a computer into it so you can tune it properly and get better fuel consumption. my shorty for example is runnin 36's now, is somewhere around 300+rwhp and is getting better fuel than my commodore ute.

the setup i was runnin 4.2 carb motor, EFI inlet manifold and throttle body, EFI dizzy, Haltech E6X, falcon coil packs, and bosch J121 ignitors, AVCR boost controler, T-reg pro regulator, i also have bigger injectors but i didn't really need them i just love wastin money. Was running Two GT28's but have just pulled them off as i am putting 14" fox triple bypass shocks in with only 2" springs so they are almost through the bonnet and i can't fit the two turbo's with the shock hoops etc. am now changing to a big single setup for outback challenge and after outback will be putting in motec so i can run anti-lag and building custom inlet plenum and doing head work. i don't own a camera so don't have photo's but im sure some people around rocky or yeppoon will have some if they want to post them up. im trying to sell my twin turbo's and exhaust manifolds at the moments but with the turbo's owing me over $3000 by themselves people want it but i think they want it all for free. If i don't sell it all i will put the twins on my mums LWB as it was going to get all the old injection gear when i did the upgrade to my car any way.
