Hey People Can anyone tell me if the new defender crossmember will bolt in the same spot as the crossmember on my Rangie ? ? ?
I seent he D90 xmember and its very slim design (better than no crossmember at all)
Just wanted to know if I can chuck it inplace on my vehicle ? ? ?
Cheers

don't see why you couldn't make a custom one up using tube instead of welded channel.

I might just do that actually........
But I would be lazy and just make it permanently fixed and weld it straight to the rest of the chassis
after I solve my current box problem

Yes good idea. And while your at it you should weld the bonnet closed coz you'll never need to look under there!

Hmmm bolts, stronger, cheaper, easier than welding it .... but definately go for the welding

I wouldn't weld the xmemeber in!!!!
you need to remove it todo auto oil filer changes every 20 - 30k, exhuast (in some cases) transfer case removal (which you will need todo very soon (when yr viscus unit shits itself) blha blha bhalala

Nah I might cut the current square tube out and put two lots of 2" round tube in its place (both horizontal to each other and close to the bottom, might evan put some smal joins between them)..... paint it in yellow to match the rest of the shit........
