chasing a front left wheel hub, GU ute

the story is, a wheel came loose and i had to change all the wheel studs on the front left of my GU ute. the problem a came across on th wkend is that since changing the studs, it has weakened the spline in the hub, and subsequently i tore the spline on one of the studs.....after a cold chisel and a grinder i got it off.
my question is. other than getting a NEW hub, is there a product (l;ike oversized spline wheel studs?) that can successfully bite into the hub? ( a bit like a helecoil for spark plugs?). and is it cost effective? i would like to do all 6.
cheers

replacement studs should be a little larger in teh shank so they bite in, maybe ask at your tyre shop and see what they can do...

already had the studs tack welded in....but its a bit hard to get a penetrating weld into cast iron....with only a tack (dont want full welds).
just bought the replacement studs from repco.....so unsure whether they are oversized. will ask a tyre shop tomorrow.
can anyone provide me with a hub for the right price????
cheers
