Do a search, theres a really good thread about them from when they first came out, people seem very impressed by them.
I think the best ones are the ones larger than 35 inches eg. the non-radials.

nope.dont listen to the stuff people write when something 1st comes out.

look what happened when the MTR 1st came out..far out..people were jumping over each other to say how great they are..well there not that great.

I want to know if you guys have or know people that have put some ks on there maxxis trepador tyres and how there holding up..
would you buy a 2nd set???? are they good or crap
or better yet..are they strong or weak
ok on the road?

i bought a set of the radial ones, and my mate liked them and so he bought a set for his buggy thing (5l rover, 80 series front ends for 4 wheel steer, based on a suzuki) and they work extremely well on it. He'll be buying another set.

I still havnt been able to use mine so cant caomment on how i found em. They do look good though

iv got the 35" radial on my daily driver and play thing. iv only put probably 2500kms on them, but theyre great onroad and have gripto spare offroad. i really like them as a compromise, an awesome tyre with heaps of grip but drives really well on road. Iv driven on cooper sts, simex jt2s, nankang mudstars and mtrs. I rate these just as good as any of these others on road and the only tyre better would be the jt2 that i have driven for the sloppy stuff, otherwise the treps love the rock and everything else.

id buy another set, the bias ones are heaps chunkier though.

I`ve got a set of 35 in radial trepadors on my mq. Awsome tyre off road, havent had to let em down below 20 lbs yet. On road not bad but feel quite boaty. I dont run them over 35 lbs on the street because the stand the tread face up and they wear the edges off the blocks. I dont think they will last long on road because they are quite soft. Overall they are a great tyre and i`ll get em again . Woz.

yeh as woz said and something i forgot, the compound is quite soft, this makes for a great tyre offroad but yet to see onroad kms, some people have said they get good kms out of them i run them at 37psi onroad, 15 offroad, like i said iv only done 2500kms, but no considerable wear yet,

what sort of ks would you expect from these tyres?

Im asking this as i already have 38boggers for hard comps
and 37 claws fror willowglen/nissan trials
And really need a tyre for everyday use.MY gu only does around 10000 ks a year.driving to and from day and weekend trips as it does almost NO trips to the shops, school, maccas,.

But i do drive extremely hard.I am trying to slow down but the medication keeps wearing off. :D
