Windscreen wiper problem

Going to work the other morning in my mq and it started pissing down went to flick the wipers on nothing, pulled over had a look at the relay i pulled it out and plugged it back in wipers worked for about 2 minutes then cut off, keep hitting the relay and the wipers just go on and off and seem like they have no power when they actully work anyhelp guys????
