Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone can send some info my way. Am looking at top mounting an intercooler to my patrol.. about 300mm square.. so not big.. The web page indicates it flows 150 cf/min.. Pressure drop is minimal at the pressure I will be utilising.
Is this enough air flow.. or do I need to find something with a larger flow rate?
The actual intercooler is bigger overall than the factory fitted ones.. and the inlet and outlet is bigger too..

Thanks

does it say at what pressure drop they messured the flow at?

if you messured the actual air flow of the engine, even at %80VE it is way more then 150cfm. but it's all to do with pressure 150cfm at 50inches is way less then 150cfm at 12inches

No.. It doesnt say the actual pressure they got that figure at.. They do say it is 'supposedly' good for around the 400hp.. And I know the old TD42 isnt going to be anywhere near that..
Pressure drop was (I think) 0.2 to -0.5 at 15pounds boost..
