gu seats into gq what to do for a ceterconsole

Hi,
i have gu seats in my gq. i bought it like this a couple of months ago. it has no centerconsole. i have tryed to fit a gq one and gu, but it appears that the seats are just to wide to fit one in. What do people who have done this do. Is there a console out there that fits or do i have to make one.

you could go to a wrecker and try 5000 or just make one.

How about one of those fridges that Waeco make that fit between the seats like a consol. Would be handy.

MQ consoles are much narrower than GQ yet sit on same floor pan so by rights should fit and would look OK with a coat paint

mate that is a bloody brilliant idea!! I work down the road from a 4x4 wrecker will go there tomorrow and see
